birthday afterthoughts.

wow my 21st birthday was so epic & i know i didn’t vlog that day i definitely want to share a few highlights of this beautiful day with y’all!!

firstly, i want to thank everyone who wished me kind words through my dms, comments on my videos, posting on their stories, and all the other forms of love that were expressed to me. my love language are words of affirmation and acts of service so seeing the sweet sentiments & everyone going out of their way to make me feel special truly meant the world!

some highlights:

• my friends & family blessed me with some GORGEOUS FLOWERS💐 my good friend jolie sent me some hot pink roses a couple days before my birthday & my parents got me the most extravagant bouquet. if you know me you know i love plants and nature so these we’re definitely beautiful gifts that i will cherish for as long as they survive !

• my new tattoo! i got a butterfly tattoo with the words “romans 12:2” in it! my reasoning behind it is because butterflies symbolize rebirth & transformation. the main scripture pieces that this tatt revolves around are obviously romans 12:2 & also the concept of becoming a new creation in Christ! Jesus has truly changed my life for the best, and the simple gift behind knowing Him and what He’s done for every single one of us is such an empowering & transformative aspect.

• getting to spend that time with my family!! my sister came to visit and celebrated my birthday with me which was such a major blessing. my family means EVERYTHING to me. I know how short life is and that no one is promised tomorrow, so it truly was an honor to celebrate this milestone alongside them.

• cheers to reconnecting! I think that's all I'm going to say on that one for now ;)

• puts things into perspective...I've had some different people from my past reach out that kind of surprised me. I don't mean old family friends but moreso people who I respectively closed the door on when it came to continuing to develop a relationship with. seeing the effort and intention by people who in a sense took a risk to reach out meant a lot. it also put into perspective on the fact if people wanted to they would. I know I'm not entitled to birthday messages and posts lol don't get me wrong. no one owes me anything. however, effort is everything and I hold a lot of significance behind simple actions like such

• lastly, ya girl was on a boat! my family rented a boat for the day yesterday as a belated birthday celebration and OH BOY was that much needed. again, I LOVE being in nature so to be out on a boat and filled with feelings of peace & serenity is a time I truly will never forget

so those are a few of MANY beautiful moments from my 21st birthday! I am so blessed & grateful for everything the Lord has provided me. the only thing is Tyler Cameron STILL hasn't responded to my dms :/ that's ok because I'll keep trying!!
