it's currently Monday (08/09/21) & 3:58PM when I'm writing this.

I was sitting down and responding to comments on my latest youtube video. Here I am looking at my channel, drinking another cup of coffee, and listening to my ambiance playlist and..... wow. gratitude hit me like a ton of bricks.

firstly, there is truly nothing like the feeling of pure serenity. feeling at peace & at ease. I can't lie, a major part of that stems from my playlist because it fills me with the calm, hopeful, and sweet tunes. I am definitely a music enthusiast, but I believe what you fill yourself with will be what you pour out. if you have a cup & fill it with brutal media then what do you think will happen when someone bumps into your cup? do you think peace will spill out or do you think what you've been filling your cup with will pour out?

secondly, I love coffee. enough said.

thirdly, when I was looking at my channel I thought back to when I first started youtube. back then I only had like 10 people watching my videos. it was definitely a calling from the Lord, but it felt like my channel had a VERY slow progression rate. now when I look at my channel I can't help but just thank God. I LOVE what I do. I love being creative, playing around with editing, incorporating different graphics, etc. the more time I spend editing a video the more precious that video is to me. I also love being able to help people. whether it's sharing advice, my experiences, or the gospel, it's very rewarding.

I know I'm still a small youtuber & that's okay! my passion for youtube is the same from the day I posted my first video to my most recent. the only thing that is different is growth. yes, growth in terms of analytics but also in the quality of content. it's a very rewarding thing to physically see how your skills have improved. it's also rewarding to have patience & wait on the Lord.

9/10 times when God has something for us, in order to step into that we must have patience. the best gifts in my life have been a product of trusting & waiting on God.

so I just wanted to write how incredibly grateful I am to be where I am. this year has been more on the challenging side for me, but it's moments like this that put those things into perspective. I'm grateful for so much... my supportive friends, family, the good Lord, all the sweet comments & dm's I get, my youtube channel, growth, creativity, & God always having a way.

that's it :)

sincerely,

saved

Why is your blog called "Sincerely, Saved"?

I chose "Sincerely, Saved" as the name for my blog because it takes after the style of concluding a letter, but instead of signing it with my own name I use "saved" because that's my identity in Christ. I am saved by faith through grace because Christ died on the cross for me and my sins...
