21 facts about me on my 21st birthday.

wooohooooooo it's my birthday !!!! that means SO many different things like

1. the obvious

2. the publication of this blog FOR YOU ALL TO SEEEE

3. there's a tad bit of reflecting on the previous years of my life & who I am as a person

so with that being said, welcome to my blog if this is the first post you're reading!! make sure to check out my first post that will guide you through this website titled "start here."!

today's post is me sharing with you all (my favorite human beings ever) 21 facts about myself or events that have shaped me into the woman I am today in honor of my 21st bday.

let's get started!!

21) creativity is my jam. I've realized that I am such a creative person and I love expressing myself in that manner hence the youtube channel, graphic design, tiktok vids, etc! you can't learn creativity so I also appreciate how genuine it is and how much it reveals about the person doing the creating.

20) I'm a vegetarian! why? for numerous reasons... I didn't like any meat besides turkey bacon n chick-fil-a chicken, health improvement, and for da animals. I've been a vegetarian since 7th grade so for about 9 or 10 years now. I was actually vegan for 2 of those years. I don't really like dairy. I won't eat eggs straight up or drink whole milk BUT if it's baked into a brownie or something I am so game.

19) my favorite sport to watch is baseball. ngl I'm not the biggest sports gal but if I had to pick one to watch it would be baseball. I also respect how similar it is to kickball lol so there's that.

18) my spiritual gifts include discernment, wisdom, and a few others. the two most prominent spiritul gifts I have are discernment and wisdom. all my wisdom comes from the Lord. point blank. my spiritual discernment is something that is a major part about me. it's like having a strong intuition on steroids. I'm able to tell a lot about a person from a look and one interaction because the Lord just reveals a lot to me that quite honestly doesn't make a lot of sense to other people. if you have this gift you know what's up. you see people and situations for what they truly are, peoples true motives, and the spirits governing situations. that's a main reason why I keep my circle of friends close and also why I'm still singleeeee

17) I hate snapchat... truly, I have a burning passion of dislike for it so pls never ask for my snap.

16) my fashion sense can be described as bold, comfy, girly, and loaded with statement peices. I love being comfy but I also love dressing up. I have my girly girl moments and also my tomboy moments. I truly enjoy playing around with fashion and expressing myself in that light!

15) I've recently become a plant mom...

and yes, I will most likely be calling them my babies. that's my red flag

14) I am an enneagram type 4w3!! in a nutshell type fours are known as "the individualists" and oftentimes feel misunderstood, fear losing their identity and/or feeling flawed, desire to just be our true selves and accepted for that more than anything, and are v creative. the 3 wing represents "the aristocrat" and those types are usually more complex, ambitious, overly identify with work, more outgoing, action-oriented, and care more about what other people think of them than their counterpart. I do strongly identify with my enneagram HOWEVER there is way more to me than that and it doesn't encompass all that I am :)

13) one time when I was younger... my dad refused to play marco polo with me in a hotel pool so I played by myself and ended up bumping into a wall with my eyes closed trying to yenno... find marco. turns out the wall I bumped into was a sharp corner that left a gash above my eye and my dad had to call an ambulance. lol and one of the emt guys gave me his cap so that was fun :,)

12) the way to my heart is through HUMOR. if a guy can make me laugh and balance the right amount of sarcasm with kindness I'm going to need to marry him. ok maybe there is a liiiiiittle more to it haha but humor is so important to have in life and in any relationship. lets laugh at our mistakes, lighten the mood, and enjoy life w some good ole humor.

11) I love nature. I thoroughly enjoy being outside, feeling the sunshine hit my skin, and admiring the beauty in all of God's creation. hikes, walks outdoors, and any activity outside really. one of my more recent things I've enjoyed doing is bee watching...... LOL. basically, when I spend my time in the Word and in the Lord's presence I love being outside. well, when I'm outside there's a lot of bees pollinating the flowers and for some reason it's entertaining to just watch them do their thang.

10) I'm a massive goofball! if I'm being honest here, you have to be patient with me and let me warm up to you. BUT... if I do warm up to you then you BEST believe I will keep you on your toes 24/7. joke central. being goofy all the time unless a specific moment requires being serious.

9) I've only been in one serious relationship. lasted two years and ended in 2018.

8) I'm an outgoing introvert. I know how to socialize and I do enjoy meeting new people but I also need to recharge on my own. if I socialize too much imma need to compensate it with some time by myself. hey what can I say... I value my time and want to hang out with me too!!

7) my biggest passions are Jesus and my youtube channel. you can read more about this on the "about me" page!

6) my love language are words of affirmation, hands down. I value being supported and people verbally expressing their love with true significance behind those words.

5) I want to get married & have kids one day. this may be an obvious one but it's definitely a desire the Lord's placed on my heart. especially getting older I am thinking about it a little more. I fully trust the Lord's will and what He has in store, 100%. I would love to have a husband, build and strengthen a marriage, and have kids to nurture and love on one day.

4) I have one dog who is four years old named savannah and she is truly my pride n joy. if she's in trouble her name is "savannah marie" and if she's being goofy I call her "savannah banana". that is my child & I am a proud dog mom :,)

3) one major thing I still struggle with is losing the first guy I've ever loved. I don't mean that I'm still in love with Him or i'm in denial that it's over.... no. the thing about that relationship was that I was definitely naive n quickly found myself in a toxic situation. there was a lot of manipulation, gas lighting, being cheated on, lied to, and a lot of other deep hurts that I don't particularly want to get into. leaving that relationship left me with a lot of pain, hurt, and confusion. the reason I still struggle with this is because almost a year ago my ex passed away from an overdose. that was one of the hardest things I've had to get through in life. the truth is I have never loved or opened up to anyone more in my whole life yet have also never been betrayed so much by a person. it's such a conflicting feeling to have to mourn someone you loved and truly miss them while also battling the truth behind the relationship. not only that but I was no longer a part of his life when I got the news of his passing. that news just about killed me inside. I felt like my feelings and tears weren't valid in the eyes of others. I also felt responsible for his passing... like I could've/should've saved him. that I could've done more.

if you've read my mourning post on here you'll get a glimpse into my deep feels about the situation. I'm not a sad ball of unresolved feelings so please don't think that, but from time to time the feelings behind that situation may get to me. it's never easy losing someone.however, life keeps on moving, the sun still rises, and JESUS IS STILL GOOD.

2) I am truly like an onion with many layers. if you haven't gathered this by now there is a lot to me. it takes a lot for me to open up to people. a part of it is who I naturally am and the other part is what I've been through. I always admire and highly value the people that take the time to get to know me and see the beauty behind the layers.

1) I didn't always love Jesus. my relationship with the Lord has NOT been linear. I was raised catholic. I've fallen away from my faith. I've been an atheist at one point in my life. I used to heavily rely on astrology at one point. I reconnected with christianity in high school but that never stuck. it wasn't until October of 2019 where I truly submitted all my ways to God and was on fire for Jesus. since then I've never looked back despite some of the trials that have tried to shake me since then. Jesus is my Lord & savior. I love Him with my whole heart and being. I am proud to say I am a God fearing woman. why? because God is AlMIGHTY and not only did He create everything we see today, but had the whole plan for the world and knew all the little details before He even created a single thing. including having me [and you too]! God has pulled me through some pretty dark places and has transformed those times into being worked for good. there is so much liberation, peace, and rest in having a relationship with Jesus, y'all, so if you don't know Him I highly encourage you to seek Him or feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions n I'll try my best to answer them.
